Minnesota Vikings Uniforms

The Vikings Uniforms started in 1961 the home uniform with a purple jersey, purple helmet and white pants. In 1962- 2005 with the purple jersey, purple helmet and white pants but in 2006 they changed it to the lighter purple and lighter purple helmet with white pants. The away uniforms are white jerseys, purple helmets and white helmets. Some alternates are all purple uniforms but this year the new Nike uniforms are purple jerseys with yellow stripes and white pants with a purple helmet and purple and black Nike Cleats. The new away uniforms are White jerseys with purples stripes and white pants with black cleats. The new Nike cleats are purple with a black bottom with a yellow stripe in the middle. Ever since Nike took over the NFL jerseys this year everyone’s jerseys have changed from when it was ran by Reebok but the NFL’s contract with Reebok ended this year some they signed a 5 year deal with Nike to change the whole NFL’s uniforms some the change was changed by Roger Goodell. So ever since the uniform changes the whole NFL has gotten uniform make-over’s including the Vikings who say that they are not going to use the new Nike uniforms with a purple jersey, with yellow stripes, a yellow helmet, and yellow pants and black Nike cleats.
